Dear People Behind the Stage

 Back in Fall `03, we, a low budget production, get together to prepare press release mailings for local press.  It is a tedious process by stuffing show related documents in each envelope, putting stamps and address labels on them, and then finally sealing them. 
During this final sealing stage one guy stops everything abruptly and shouts
“Wait! Do not seal the envelopes all the way tight!!!!!!”
“Why not?” responds another guy.
“Imagine those people who receive hundreds of envelops every day. They wouldn’t bother breaking the seals if they’re so damn tight. At least that’s what I heard”
Then, I cut into the conversation.
“Hey, guys, people who don’t open them in the first place won’t open them anyway.” 
“No. No. No. We want their damn attention, don’t we?” he insists.
“Okay! Let’s just leave them sealed half way.” Another guy closes the deal.

This is where we, IPS Productions, started.

Today, we have grown much wiser since this first production just because we are always willing to try everything, literary. 
As our name stands for, IPS has been nurtured by Integrated Personal Sources.  It has always been the people around us that brought us ideas, inspirations, motivations, and successes. 

Here in New York City, there are thousands of productions in all sizes.
